To round out our customers, we have Dan Rohtbart, VP of Engineering at Aetion, a leader in healthcare data and technology. Dan and his team are making real-world evidence data more accessible for their healthcare industry customers, helping everyone make critical, life-changing decisions. The team captures billions of patient events and provides real-world evidence products including Substantiate which helps epidemiologists add data to protocoled studies without programming.
To widen the impact of this real-world evidence data, Aetion developed the Discover product. In just two months, and using Databricks and Prophecy, the team was able to process and validate over 500 million records and launch the new product for three customers.
